Levixone Confirms Relationship with Desire Luzinda, Wedding Set for August
KAMPALA – Celebrated gospel artist Levixone, born Sam Lucas Lubyogo, has officially confirmed his long-speculated relationship with fellow singer Desire Luzinda, revealing the reason behind their years of silence and announcing their upcoming wedding.
Speaking publicly for the first time about their relationship, Levixone shared that he kept their love private until Luzinda accepted his proposal.
“I had kept my love life with Desire private because she had yet to say ‘Yes’ to my proposal. But now, since she said ‘Yes,’ that is why I am here to testify and thank God for being at the center of everything in our love life journey,” Levixone said.
The ‘Chikibombe’ hitmaker revealed that he and Luzinda have shared a close bond for nearly seven years, and he felt it was finally the right time to take a significant step forward.
He praised Luzinda — a former secular artist who transitioned to gospel — for her strong faith and kind-hearted nature.
“Desire Luzinda loves God. We’ve known each other for many years, and she’s truly a gift from God. She was my choice, and I’m happy about that. Most importantly, she said yes, so the wedding is on,” he added.
The couple’s wedding is scheduled for August 15, 2025, and will be officiated by Apostle Grace Lubega of Phaneroo Ministries.
