**Breaking: Entebbe Woman Arrested for Murder of Nephew, 5, in Shocking Incident**

Police in Entebbe have arrested a woman accused of brutally murdering her five-year-old nephew, the son of her brother who had traveled abroad for work in the Middle East.

The suspect, identified as Hellen Aputo, a resident of Nkumba/Bufulu Zone in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District, was detained after the tragic incident, which occurred on the night of Thursday, 13th November 2025. The young victim was identified as Naboth Robert.

Neighbors reported hearing disturbing sounds of the boy being beaten by the suspect the previous night, but due to the late hour, they were unable to intervene. The following morning, when the boy failed to appear for his usual school routine at Benman Junior School, concerned neighbors went to inquire about him. They were shocked to find that the suspect had already cleaned the boy’s body and was attempting to dispose of it.

Upon being confronted, the neighbors immediately contacted Entebbe police, who swiftly responded to the scene and arrested the suspect. The body of the deceased boy has been taken to the City Mortuary for a postmortem examination.

The heartbreaking incident has left the local community in shock, as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
