Three people have been confirmed dead following a fatal road accident along the Entebbe Expressway in Entebbe.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Monday, March 16, 2026, at around 6:00am at the Mpala flyover. According to reports, the victims were traveling in a white Toyota Prado from Kampala towards Entebbe when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
The car is said to have veered off the road and crashed into a pillar at the flyover, killing all three occupants instantly.
Traffic police officers from Entebbe responded to the scene but found that the victims had already died. An ambulance from Entebbe General Referral Hospital was dispatched, and medical personnel confirmed the deaths upon arrival.
The bodies were later transported by police to Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem examinations as authorities prepare for burial arrangements.
Police officers at the scene declined to provide further details, stating that only the official police spokesperson is authorized to comment on the incident.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are expected to follow as concerns continue to rise over road safety along the busy expressway.
