KAMPALA, Uganda – March 27, 2026 — Police in Kampala Metropolitan are holding TikToker and social media influencer Kenneth Nyanzi Lukyamuzi, popularly known as Mukalakasa, over allegations of engaging in acts against the order of nature.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Rachael Kawala, the arrest follows the circulation of a viral video reportedly recorded in 2018. The footage allegedly shows Mukalakasa and other individuals, who are still at large, engaging in the acts in Kajjansi.

Kawala confirmed that the suspect was arrested on March 24, 2026, within Kampala and is currently in police custody as investigations continue.

Case Referred to DPP

Police say the case file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal review and further guidance on the charges.

Authorities have also launched a manhunt for other suspects believed to be connected to the incident, as investigations widen.

Public Warning Issued

Kawala urged members of the public to refrain from engaging in unlawful activities and encouraged anyone with information related to the case to report to the nearest police station.

The arrest has drawn attention online, given Mukalakasa’s presence on social media platforms, as police continue to pursue leads in the ongoing investigation.

Further updates are expected as the case progresses through legal channels.
