JUST IN: Manafwa Taxi Accident Kills One, Leaves Several in Critical Condition

MANAFWA, UGANDA — One person has been confirmed dead while several others sustained critical injuries following a tragic taxi accident in Manafwa District on Saturday.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a passenger taxi reportedly lost control before overturning along a busy section of the road. The crash left passengers trapped inside the wreckage, prompting residents and emergency responders to rush to the scene for rescue efforts.

Authorities confirmed that one victim died on the spot, while numerous injured passengers were transported to nearby health facilities for urgent medical treatment. Several of the victims are reported to be in critical condition.
