Viral Video: Thief Gets Trapped in Clinic Shutter During Failed Break-In Attempt in Uttar Pradesh

A suspected thief’s attempt to break into a medical clinic in Uttar Pradesh ended in dramatic fashion after he became trapped in a metal shutter and had to be rescued by emergency responders, an incident that has since gone viral on social media.

The bizarre incident occurred in the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad, where the suspect allegedly tried to enter a cardiology clinic in the Abhay Khand locality during the night. According to reports, the youth attempted to gain access through the building’s rooftop before trying to squeeze through a narrow gap between a rolling shutter and a concrete wall.

However, the plan quickly went wrong when his neck became wedged in the narrow opening, leaving him suspended and unable to move either into or out of the clinic. Trapped for several hours, the suspect reportedly kicked the shutter repeatedly and called for help, attracting the attention of nearby residents and clinic staff.

Police and firefighters were alerted and rushed to the scene. Due to the complexity of the situation, rescue teams used specialized equipment and carefully dismantled parts of the shutter to free the trapped suspect without causing serious injuries. The operation lasted several hours before he was successfully rescued.

After the rescue, the suspect was taken into police custody and later transported to a government hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the attempted burglary.
