Abitex Proposes King Saha vs Ray G Music Battle in London
Ugandan events promoter Abitex has proposed taking the growing rivalry between musicians King Saha and Ray G to London for a highly anticipated music battle.
Abitex believes the two artistes could face off on the same stage in what would be a major entertainment event for Ugandan music lovers in the diaspora.
Speaking during an interview with a local radio station, the promoter said he is willing to engage both King Saha and Ray G over the proposed showdown.
He also called on London-based promoter Jose of Job Links to begin exploring the possibility of hosting the event at Royal Regency.
“Ray G and King Saha deserve to go head to head in London. They should go for a battle at Royal Regency. Jose, you should start preparations,” Abitex said.
Abitex Wants King Saha and Ray G to Face Off
The proposal comes at a time when comparisons between King Saha and Ray G have attracted growing attention among Ugandan music fans.
Both artistes have established strong fan bases and are known for their contributions to Uganda’s music scene, particularly in the live performance and vocal music space.
A head-to-head concert in London could therefore provide an opportunity for fans to compare their performances, stage presence and musical catalogues in one setting.
Royal Regency Proposed as Venue
Abitex specifically suggested Royal Regency in London as the potential venue for the battle.
He also urged promoter Jose of Job Links to start looking into the logistics of organising the proposed event.
If successful, the concert could attract Ugandans living in the United Kingdom as well as other East African music enthusiasts interested in seeing the two artistes perform on the same stage.
No Date or Agreement Yet
Despite the proposal, there is currently no confirmed date for the event, and neither King Saha nor Ray G has formally agreed to the proposed battle.
It remains unclear whether the two musicians will embrace Abitex’s idea or whether the proposed London showdown will move beyond the planning stage.
For now, the suggestion has added fresh excitement to the ongoing conversation surrounding the two artistes.
Could King Saha vs Ray G Become a Major Diaspora Show?
Should the proposal become a reality, a King Saha versus Ray G music battle in London could become one of the notable Ugandan music events staged in the diaspora.
The event would also give both artistes an opportunity to showcase their musical abilities to a wider international audience while allowing fans to experience their performances in a competitive concert format.
For Ugandan music fans, attention will now turn to King Saha, Ray G and the promoters to see whether Abitex’s proposal can become a reality.
