Ugandan TikTok personality Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has died following a prolonged battle with sickle cell disease and aplastic anaemia.

News of Jayden’s death was announced on Monday morning by fellow Ugandan TikToker Sheila Price, sparking an outpouring of grief among his fans, friends and fellow content creators.

“The sad news we just got at this moment is that Jayden has passed on. It’s such bad news,” Sheila said.

Jayden battled sickle cell disease for years

Jayden had reportedly lived with sickle cell disease for about 20 years, but his health deteriorated significantly after he developed complications affecting his bone marrow.
