*KAMPALA* – Controversial socialite Bryan White, born Brian Kirumira, has been remanded to Luzira Upper Prison following a court appearance earlier today, Wednesday, 19th November, 2025. White faces serious charges, including human sacrifice, manslaughter, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of narcotic drugs.
The charges stem from the death of his 25-year-old girlfriend, Caroline Nalubwama, who passed away under mysterious circumstances on October 22, 2025, at White’s residence in Makindye Division. Bryan White was charged in absentia on Thursday, 13th November, 2025, but was brought to court today after a series of legal proceedings.
Nalubwama’s death is alleged to have been part of a ritual sacrifice. Bryan White, along with his co-accused – Daphine Abaho, Naava Nakato, and Irene Joyce Nambalirwa – faces seven counts, including murder, conspiracy, giving false information, and committing acts that led to Nalubwama’s tragic death.
Prosecution claims that White killed Nalubwama for the purposes of witchcraft and ritual, violating the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act. It is also alleged that he burned her between October 22 and 27, 2025, before transferring her to Kiruddu Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Court officials confirmed that Bryan White was denied bail and will remain in custody until his next hearing, scheduled for 18th December, 2025.
