**BREAKING: Three Killed and Car Set Ablaze in Brutal Attack by Thugs in Koboko**

At least three people have been confirmed dead after unknown assailants attacked and murdered them before setting fire to their Toyota Hiace (Drone) vehicle. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of November 21, 2025, in Diobe village, Metino Parish, Abuku Sub-county, Koboko District.

Reports suggest that the victims were suspected to be involved in cattle theft, a crime that has plagued the area in recent months. Locals said the attack took place around 2 a.m., when unidentified assailants intercepted the vehicle, registration number UA 186BP, and brutally killed the three occupants before torching the car.

Residents have expressed growing concern, revealing that over 300 cattle have been stolen in the region in recent months, leaving many living in fear for their safety.

Police have since visited the scene, recovering the bodies of the deceased and transporting them to Koboko hospital mortuary for postmortem. Investigations into the murder are ongoing.
