**Police Probe Brutal Domestic Attack in Buyende as Two Co-Wives Arrested**

Kidera Police Station in Buyende District has launched investigations into a case of unlawful wounding following a violent domestic attack reported on December 15, 2025, in Butayunjwa B Village, Buyanja Sub-County.

The victim has been identified as **Bebwa Robert**, a 51-year-old resident of the area and Vice Chairperson (LC I) of Butayunjwa B Village.

According to the Busoga North Regional Police spokesperson, **SSP Samson Lubega**, preliminary findings indicate that Bebwa was allegedly waylaid and attacked by two female suspects—**Naluvuma Esther (44)** and **Nakayunja Norah (53)**—both residents of Buyanja Sub-County and reportedly the victim’s spouses.

Police say the attack is believed to have stemmed from a domestic dispute linked to allegations of infidelity. During the incident, the suspects allegedly assaulted the victim and inflicted serious injuries using a sharp object, resulting in severe wounds to his private parts.

The victim was rushed to **Kidera Health Centre IV**, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. Both suspects have since been arrested and are being held in police custody to assist with ongoing investigations.

Police say inquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attack, after which the suspects will be formally charged.

Police have strongly condemned acts of violence, particularly domestic-related violence, and have urged members of the public to resolve disputes through lawful and peaceful means. The public is also encouraged to seek support from community leaders, police, or other relevant authorities when faced with domestic conflicts.
